“If you take everything I’ve accomplished in my life and condense it down to one day, it looks decent!” (George Costanza, Seinfeld)
My name’s Chris.
I originally was an art major, though turned to science, eventually earning an Associate of Science in Biology before completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Hood College in 2003.
After two years of performing research for the U.S. Government, I chose to enter Dallas Theological Seminary, where in 2009 I received a Master of Theology (ThM) in Systematic Theology and Pastoral Ministries.
I currently serve as Associate Pastor of Teaching Ministries at Tri State Fellowship. I also serve a company dedicated to providing sermon research material to churches throughout the United States. Recently I’ve been able to contribute to a series of training manuals for pastors in South Africa.
I also dabble in the visual arts, having been privileged to show my work at an art show in recent years.
I enjoy writing, though I also speak and teach. In addition to expository preaching and theology, I enjoy discussing (1) Faith and culture, (2) Theology and the arts, (3) Film studies, (4) Philosophy and apologetics, (5) Generational ministry and (6) Missional Christianity.
